No.  Entrance to the Vendor’s Haul is restricted to attendee ticket holders only.

• Yes, we have negotiated a special ticket rate with the Novotel North York.

• The hotel has a restaurant/bar, a pool and exercise room, and an ATM.

• There is underground parking below the North York Central Library.  If you are staying at the Hotel, you will receive a discount on the Hotel's underground parking.

• The hotel is around the corner from the hall

• The hotel is in the same building complex called the North York Centre

• Subway stop, North York Centre, is about a 5 minute walk and you can take the entrance directly to the centre without going outside

• If driving, parking is available at the hotel if you are staying at the hotel, otherwise park at the Central Library section.

• The North York Centre is north of the 401 and then north of Sheppard on Yonge on the West Side of Yonge St. 

• It is customary (but not required) to provide a small gift to your tablemates.  

• If you are stuck for an idea, in the past I have given or received some combination of the following :

  • Washi cutter, washi sampler, planner charm, post it notes, hand cream, chocolates, week at a glance sheet, pencil case, cloth tote bag, pencil and ruler,  hand sanitizer, breath mints, book mark, adhesive pocket… Ideas are endless

• We have built lunch and shopping time into the schedule.  

• There are nearby dine in restaurants (including Trio at the hotel), there are also fast food restaurants within a short walk.

• You may wish to pack a lunch, or organize something with your friends or tablemates.

• There is a refrigerator you can use at the venue, however please label your lunch clearly and know we are not responsible to guard lunches that are put into the fridge.  There are also 2 microwaves.  The ovens and warmers cannot be used.  

• You can also order for delivery.  You may want to use the hotel street entrance for pick up so the driver can pull up and meet you.  

• Outside is Mel Lastman Square where there may be food trucks outside depending on what the city has going on.
